Welcome to SENTIENT! We are a fashion house created with the mission to inspire a world where cruelty and exploitation no longer have a place. This is why we bring you only vegan garments and accessories produced under fair working conditions. SENTIENT was founded to spread the word on how garments and accessories can be innovative, timeless and stylish without the need to use animal derived products.
As a brand, we seek a world built on kindness and compassion towards human and non-human animals. SENTIENT represents the idea that we, as humans, share this planet with other species - that we have fought for centuries for our most basic human rights, and now it is time to share those values with the other species capable of perceiving pain and pleasure, just as we do. We believe that all of us sentient beings are bound by the soul.

SENTIENT forms part of the global commitment towards the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) -also known as the 2030 Agenda- adopted by the United Nation’s General Assembly in 2015. We are particularly focused on implementing Goals 8, 9, 12, 13, 15 and 17: decent work and economic growth, fostering innovation, responsible consumption and production, climate action, life on land, and partnerships for the goals, respectively.
Goal 8 – Decent Work
Working in partnership with local workshops, we strive to guarantee the creation of decent jobs and the promotion of sustained and inclusive economic growth within communities. We believe that acquiring fashion created through exploitation is out of style. This is why we work hard so that our products can be as accessible as possible whilst guaranteeing the human rights and fair working conditions for those that participate in the production of fashion goods that we so much enjoy.
Goal 9 – Fostering Innovation
Research and innovation have given us the opportunity to provide sustainable and ecofriendly materials that minimize the impact on our beautiful planet. With your support, we are able to foster innovation by carefully selecting and investing our efforts in companies and textile providers that are promoting and undergoing constant research so that we can bring fashion to you without the need to exploit and abuse animals and by following a regenerative economic model that avoids the over exploitation of natural resources and the use of harmful chemicals.
Goal 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production
We rely on an efficient and responsible form of production without causing a destructive impact to the natural world. We avoid textiles and materials that make excessive and irresponsible use of water or apply solvents and chemicals that pollute bodies of water and are harmful for human health.
SENTIENT endorses recycling and reuse as a means to reduce the waste that the fashion industry generates yearly; this is why we are working to implement a collection dedicated to giving our products a second life. We encourage our customers to reach out so we can provide valuable advice on how to repair and take good care of their garments!
Goal 13 – Climate Action
In order to operate, produce and bring fashion to your doorstep, SENTIENT generates a carbon footprint. SENTIENT has a clear mission to offset our carbon footprint by consistently implementing data collection in our supply chain and make the adjustments needed to lower our impact.
Most importantly, we are consolidating necessary and valuable partnerships with local and global organizations in order to preserve and restore ecosystems that sequestrate greenhouse gas emissions and help mitigate climate change. Climate action is one of SENTIENT’s fundamental values.
Goal 15 – Life on Land
Leaving out any animal derived inputs and products helps us battle the deterioration and loss of the Earth’s biodiversity.
SENTIENT recognizes that committing to environmental causes is not only what inspired us to establish a fashion house but also an inherent cost of being able to use the Earth’s resources to be able to thrive and promote economic growth. As a result, we donate a percentage of our total sales to environmental non-profits dedicated to restoring vital ecosystems and protecting wildlife.
